Moles/Skin Lesions
Medical-Grade Imaging: Instead of relying on standard phone cameras, users capture pictures of their moles using a certified Class 1 medical device called the "Dyplens" (a dermatoscope) that attaches to their smartphone.
Expert Review: Images and a brief skin questionnaire are uploaded to the Map My Mole app or portal. They are then evaluated by UK-based, NHS-trained consultant dermatologists.
Fast Results: Within 24 to 48 hours, you receive a clinical report detailing whether the mole is benign (harmless) or if it requires further medical attention, such as a GP referral or private treatment.
Price: The cost of the service will be £75 for the first assessment and any others treated in the same appointment will be £40 extra - For comparison, a private dermatologist appointment usually costs £250–£300, so our service offers fantastic value and without GP wait times.
It is designed to check specific areas of concern rather than providing full-body mole mapping. For more information or to access the service, visit the Map My Mole website or locate a participating clinic on their Map My Mole Clinic Finder.
You can walk into the pharmacy and get your assessment done on the day!
